Greeshma

Thiruvananthapuram: Police revealed further details of the statements given by Greeshma, the key accused in the murder of Parassala native Sharon Raj. She said that the personal vendetta towards Sharon also urged her to kill him. In her statement, Greeshma disclosed that Sharon had refused to delete her private photos from his phone when she asked. The accused was scared whether Sharon would send the pictures to her fiance.

Sharon was obstinate not to delete the pictures even after she made a suicide threat, revealed Greeshma.

It has been hinted that the police will soon list more accused in Sharon murder case. The Crime Branch had questioned Greeshma’s parents, uncle, and another relative for hours on Sunday.

Following the interrogation at the rural SP office, all of them were questioned individually at different police stations in Vattappara, Venjaramoodu and Aruvikkara. As there were alleged discrepancies in their statements, the Crime Branch will question them in detail on Monday again, before advancing to further procedures.

Meanwhile, police informed that Greeshma’s health condition is stable though she attempted to commit suicide by gulping disinfectant at Nedumangad police station on Monday morning. Soon after discharge, she would be taken to the rural SP office for recording her arrest.
