Sharon Raj and Greeshma

Thiruvananthapuram: The Crime Branch sought legal advice in the investigation of the murder of Parassala youth Sharon Raj. Certain legal doubts loom over the case as the accused Greeshma had offered Ayurvedic concoction mixed with pesticide to Sharon at a location in Tamil Nadu.

Greeshma had urged Sharon to consume the poisoned concoction at her house located at Ramavarmanchira in Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu. However, the complaint following the death and a case was registered at Parassala police station in Kerala. Kerala police have registered the arrest of three accused in the case till date.

The Kerala police have enquired whether any issues persist in proceeding with the case or if the case has to be handed over to the Tamil Nadu police. Greeshma’s house is situated in Palukal police station limit and the Tamil Nadu police have collected details of the case from Kerala police.
