Sharon Raj and Greeshma
Thiruvananthapuram: A video supposedly shot on the “marriage day” of Sharon Raj and Greeshma has come out. In the video, Sharon can be heard saying, “today is our marriage.” The video seems to have been shot inside Greeshma’s house.
Greeshma is the main accused in the murder of Sharon, a resident of Parassala. Her marriage with a soldier was fixed last February. Later, in May, Sharon came to her house and shot the video.
On Sunday, Greeshma had confessed to the police that she poisoned Sharon to do away with him after her engagement. She told the police that she plotted the crime alone. However, the police are suspicious of her statement.
Greeshma also said Sharon refused to delete her private photos from his phone when she asked him to and that she was scared if he would send those photos to her fiance.
The police recorded her arrest at the Thiruvananthapuram medical college on Monday. She was taken to the hospital after she attempted suicide by drinking disinfectant at the Nedumangad police station. But the police suspects that the suicide attempt was a drama staged to avoid quizzing.
