Kochi: The Kerala High Court rejected the bail plea of the mother and uncle of Greeshma, main accused in the Parassala Sharon murder case. The court rejected the plea of Sindu and Nirmalkumar Nair pointing out that bail cannot be granted as the investigation was underway.

Sindhu and Nirmal are the second and third accused in the case. They have been charged with murder and destruction of evidence.

Greeshma allegedly murdered Sharon Raj on October 14 by serving him an ayurvedic decoction laced with pesticide as her marriage was fixed with another man. Greeshma confessed to police that she poisoned Sharon.

Greeshma also told the police that she planned the crime alone. However, the police were wary of her statement and decided to probe the role played by her relatives.
