Thiruvananthapuram: Former gunman of Congress leader Mullappally Ramachandran and ASI at Thiruvananthapuram medical college police Uroob has tendered an apology over his social media post insulting deceased CPM veteran Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. The move comes after the person was suspended pending enquiry.
Uroob had termed Kodiyeri as a murderer in a message shared on WhatsApp group of PTA members of a school in Pothencode. However, now after the suspension, he apologised in a social media live.

According to Uroob, he received condolence messages from many WhatsApp groups. “I forwarded a wrong message from that to PTA group by mistake. I regret the mistake. On realising the mistake, I deleted the message within 30 seconds,” he said.
He also shared his apology.
