Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Mani C. Kappan said that party national president Sharad Pawar has told him that there was no need for NCP to relinquish any of its sitting seats including Pala.
Mani C. Kappan was speaking to media after a meeting with Sharad Pawar here on Monday.
Mani C. Kappan said that he spoke to Sharad Pawar regarding all the political developments in Kerala so far. Sharad Pawar and Praful Patel will be in Delhi on February 1. NCP has asked myself, A. K. Saseendran and Peethambaran Master to come to Delhi on that day, Mani C. Kappan said.
Sharad Pawar has reiterated that there was no need for a compromise which involves relinquishing any of NCP's sitting seats, Mani C. Kappan added.
I have not complained about holding party meetings based on groups. But Peethambaran Master has filed a complaint in that regard. Nobody has asked us to relinquish the Pala seat, said Mani C. Kappan.
