Swapna Suresh, Shaj Kiran
Kochi: Shaj Kiran will appear before the investigation team on Wednesday over the conspiracy case against Swapna Suresh. Shaj Kiran informed that he has arrived at Kochi and will go to the Ernakulam police club by noon. Meanwhile, he also declared that he has not received the police notice.
Swapna Suresh had alleged that Shaj Kiran was the messenger of CM Pinarayi Vijayan. She has also made the voice recording of the conversation Shaj Kiran had with her at her residence public. Shaj Kiran and Ibrahim had fled to Tamil Nadu after this. The explanation given by the duo was that they went there to recover a deleted video that would prove as core evidence against Swapna.
However, it was widely alleged that Shaj and Ibrahim went to Tamil Nadu to destroy evidence on their phone. Why Shaj Kiran was not being arrested was also one of the many questions raised.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) sought legal advice over the confidential statement of Swapna Suresh. Swapna Suresh will move the High Court seeking the cancellation of the FIR registered against her in Palakkad.
