SFI acts more dreadfully than fanatic groups: AISF report
Kollam: The report of Kollam district conference of the CPI student organisation AISF has harshly criticised the CPM student organisation SFI. The SFI is functioning on campuses in a more dreadful style than the fanatic organisations.
The report also criticised that SFI is perceiving AISF as its major enemy on the campuses in the district. SFI is following an apolitical style of functioning. Their activities help the fanatic and fascist organisations to strengthen their hold on campuses.
When AISF was about to win the election in Kundara IHRD college, SFI sabotaged the election. SFI took the stand that even if fanatic organisations ruled the campus, AISF should not be allowed, it is noted in the report.
Also they have raised self-criticism that the district unit of AISF failed to perform well. The committees did not try to take up campaigns and proceed with them. AISF district conference is held at Parippalli in Kollam.
AISF state secretary Shubhesh Sudhakaran criticised Minister for Higher Education K. T. Jaleel for his opportunist attitude. The minister is keeping silent regarding the issues related to universities, he said. Majority of the committees criticised SFI in the discussion.
Torture rooms similar to that of Thiruvananthapuram University College are functioning on campuses like Kollam SN College. SFI has lost their morale and ethics and are unleashing violence on campuses as they realised they can no longer proceed with the ideology war, AISF said.
