Thiruvananthapuram: A considerable decline has been reported in the online ticket sales when the separate booking websites were launched for KSRTC and Swift buses. The decrease in the online bookings has been attributed to the lapses of the IT department in the conversion of websites.

The online booking for Swift buses were accepted in the website online.keralartc.com owned by KSRTC until April. In May, a new website onlineksrtcswift.com was launched solely for the booking of swift buses. Meanwhile, the website address displayed on the Swift buses has not been changed.

When the passengers who are only familiar with the KSRTC’s online booking site search for Swift buses on this site, they are not being diverted to the latest website. This troubles the passengers who are unaware of the new website for the Swift buses.
