Senior citizens to get 50% off on entry free at state-run tourism centres in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Tourism Minister PA Mohammed Riyas has informed that senior citizens will get 50 per cent off on entry free at all tourism centres under state tourism department.

Covid-19 pandemic and related restrictions had hampered the social interaction of the senior citizens. Referring to this, Minister Riyas said that the move will give senior citizen an opportunity to interact with others.

The proposal was before the state government since a long time. Senior citizens’ welfare bodies and the community members themselves have been batting for this. The government took effort for the senior citizen-friendly move amid this.
