Seizure of answer sheets, fake seal: Governor seeks report from VC
Thiruvananthapuram: In connection with the conflicts in Thiruvananthapuram University College, the governor sought an urgent report from the Kerala University vice chancellor. The answer sheets of the university should be kept with proper records. But it was seized from the house of a student. The vice chancellor should give an explanation in this regard.
Also, the VC should explain how a fake seal of the Physical Education Director of the university was seized from there. The vice chancellor should explain what irregularities have taken place using the fake seal. The governor, who is also the Chancellor of the university, has directed to give a report on this.
The teachers are responsible for keeping the record of answer sheets. They were found from the house of a student. The department of higher education had directed to convert the university union office into a classroom. Some answer sheets were found from the room while cleaning it. The governor has intervened in the issue as these reports came to light.
The seizure of a fake seal of a teacher from the union office is considered as a more serious issue by the Governor. So, he has directed the VC to submit a report after examining the the details.

The governor sought an urgent report when the opposition leader was planning to meet him with the same demand. However, the opposition leader will meet the governor in the evening. A caucus of SFI leadership and college teachers are behind this issue, Ramesh Chennithala alleged.
The opposition had demanded judicial probe into the issue. KSU is conducting an indefinite hunger strike demanding a probe into this. Following this, the opposition leader sought governor’s intervention in the issue.
