Thiruvananthapuram: Security has been beefed up for KPCC president K Sudhakaran. Stringent security of the armed police has been set up at his residence at Nadal in Kannur.
The decision to provide security to the Congress leader was taken following a report of Intelligence noting a possible attack on him.
Sudhakaran had an escort of two cops earlier. The tight security has been granted in view of the surging violence after the Congress protest against the Chief Minister. Following the protest inside the IndiGo flight, the security for the CM has also been reinforced.
