Secretariat staff warned against dumping domestic waste on office premises

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has warned the state secretariat staff against dumping household waste in the bins placed on the office premises.

During the pre-monsoon cleaning operation at the secretariat, it was discovered that some employees were bringing and depositing their domestic garbage on the premises.

Subsequent investigations revealed that certain employees were discreetly carrying bags of household waste when entering the Secretariat. In response to this, the government issued a stern directive stating that severe action will be taken against those found dumping household waste within the Secretariat premises.

Furthermore, it has been announced that CCTV cameras will be installed near the waste bins within the secretariat compound.
