SDPI calls off Tuesday's hartal
Kozhikode: The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has called off the statewide dawn-to-dusk hartal it had proposed to organize on Tuesday to protest the police action of taking the party's state leaders into custody.
SDPI state general secretary P Abdul Hameed said in a press release that the hartal has been called off as the police have let off the SDPI leaders who were taken into custody and also by taking the rain havoc into consideration.
