Eloor: Kerala government has decided to dispense uniforms for the next academic year to students even before the academic year 2022-23 ends. The proceedings to distribute the uniforms for the next academic year have already been initiated in the state.
A meeting convened under Minister P Rajeev evaluated the preparations for the inauguration of the uniform distribution. Ministers V Sivankutty and P Rajeev will give away the handloom uniforms to students at the inaugural ceremony scheduled on March 25 at Government Higher Secondary School in Eloor.
Meanwhile, P Rajeev directed the concerned officials to complete the renovation of 60 anganwadis in the Kalamassery constituency in a time-bound manner. The renovation project worth Rs 95 lakh will be carried out with the support of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited.
