Saritha S Nair accuses former driver of poisoning her, files complaint

Thiruvananthapuram: Saritha S Nair has accused his former driver of conspiring with some others to slow poison her with the intention to kill her. She filed a complaint with the police in this regard. An FIR has been registered and the Crime Branch has initiated a probe.

The accused is identified as Vinu Kumar. According to the FIR, the persons against whom Saritha had filed complaints are reportedly involved in this conspiracy.



The FIR has elaborated on various attempts by which Vinu Kumar tried to poison the complainant woman. It is alleged that the accused has been trying to slowly poison Saritha since 2014 for financial motives. He had been lacing food and juice with poison, reads the complaint.

Saritha has listed the health issues she faced due to the alleged poisoning and how they posed threat to her life. Arsenic, mercury, and lead are the chemicals listed in the complaint. She also complained of vision loss in the left eye due to the poisoning.
