Thrissur: The Kerala Sahitya Akademi on Tuesday announced distinguished fellowship and Award for Overall Contributions. Noted novelist U A Khader and short story writer Sara Joseph bagged the fellowship. The award carries Rs 50,000 in cash, a golden citation and a plaque.
O V Usha, Mundoor Sethumadhavan, V Sukumaran, T B Venugopala Panicker, Prayar Prabhakaran and Dr K Sugathan won the Award Overall Contributions. The award carries Rs 30,000 and a golden ponnada, a plaque.
