New Delhi: The state government filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against the High Court’s stay order on the Salary Challenge which is a mission for flood relief.
The Chief Justice accepted the government’s request to consider the petition urgently. The court said that the petition will be considered on October 29.
The High Court had stayed the demand for no-consent letter in the Salary Challenge which asks for contributing one month’s salary to the Chief Minster’s Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF).
The stay is valid till Kerala Administrative Tribunal pronounces final verdict on the matter. The appeal was filed against this stay order. The finance department had sought legal advice of the AG in this regard.
