Amidst the resignation of Saji Cheriyan, actor Hareesh Peradi has lauded the intervention of media in safeguarding human rights and democracy in Kerala. Peradi took to Facebook and noted in his post that ‘media, its your day’. He even offered salute to the media in his post.
Peradi in his FB post described his take on media and urged the people to ‘continue raising fingers that put forth questions’ even if forces try to threaten or demand for ‘coolness’.
He also pointed out that he used to criticise media and continue to do so. “But I think you are the ones who remind people about human rights and democracy,” he noted.
