Sabarimala: Yathish Chandra did nothing wrong, says CM
Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday said that the police intervention at Sabarimala was in the right direction. Speaking to media at Thiruvananthapuram, CM said that police have taken action only against those who tried to instigate violence and those who tried to block devotees.
“It is not right to misbehave with a union minister. But the brawl between minister and SP Yathish Chandra occurred over permitting the entry of pilot vehicles. There is nothing wrong on SP’s part. The Sangh Parivar groups are trying to attack police force”.
The court has approved IG’s report that real devotees have no issues at Sabarimala. Nobody blocked chanting Ayyappa hymns at Sannidhanam. Devotees can reach alone or in groups to Sabarimala, CM added.
