Sabarimala: After completing the Karkidaka rituals, Sabarimala temple will close on Wednesday. Under the guidance of Tantri Kandararu Mohanararu, Kalasa Pooja was performed at the temple on Monday.
Though 10,000 devotees were allowed to visit daily, only 1439 reached Sabarimala on Monday. 2238 had booked for darshan online. The sanctum will reopen on August 16 for the monthly rituals of Chingam.
