Sabarimala: K Sudhakaran challenges BJP to issue ordinance
Kozhikode: KPCC working president K. Sudhakaran said that the BJP workers in Kerala should approach the central government to bring in an ordinance in Sabarimala issue, if they have any self-esteem. He also asked why they are letting their party workers sacrifice their lives instead of issuing the ordinance.
BJP should stop playing political opportunism and issue the ordinance. The women of high pedigree will not enter Sabarimala. If we come to power, we will intervene to bring in an ordinance for Sabarimala and will pressurize the High Command for the same, Sudhakaran told the media in Kozhikode.
Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan is responsible for the entire violence in the state. A Kannur native policemen named Shijith helped the two women to rent a room. They have to make it clear how Shijith arrived at Sabarimala though he had no duty there, Sudhakaran said.
He also added that Shijith will not do it without the knowledge of the chief minister. Sonia Gandhi has not given any direction to the party MPs regarding the young women entry and any news in this regard is false, Sudhakaran said.
