Thiruvananthapuram: Police have written to Kerala Assembly Secretary, seeking a nod for probing matters related to the recent ruckus that happened at the House. The letter seeks permission to have a scene visit for mahasar preparation and to make available the CCTV visuals of the ruckus. Earlier police booked both the ruling coalition and opposition MLAs over the matter.

Meanwhile, Opposition leader VD Satheesan on Sunday took a dig at LDF convenor EP Jayarajan over the latter's condemnation of UDF's alleged high-handedness at the Assembly. Referring to the 2015 Assembly Ruckus case, Satheesan said that it is ridiculous that a person like Jayarajan is lecturing UDF on conduct and decorum to be followed in the Assembly. He particularly referred to the 'chair toppling move' taken by Jayarajan during the then ruckus.

Satheesan added that the Opposition will not cooperate with the ruling faction unless its demands over the recent ruckus episode are acknowledged.
