RSS leader Ram Madhav conspired to destroy KIIFB, alleges Thomas Isaac
Alappuzha: Defending the allegations against KIIFB, Finance Minister Thomas Isaac raised sharp criticism against RSS here on Monday. He alleged that the RSS is conspiring to destruct KIIFB.
The finance minister has alleged that RSS leader Ram Madhav has hatched a conspiracy to destruct KIIFB during a meeting at Ramanilayam in Thrissur. Thomas Isaac also slammed KPCC secretary Adv Mathew Kuzhalnadan.
“The secrets behind the conspiracy to destruct KIIFB is coming to light one by one. Ranjith Karthikeyan who filed the case against KIIFB appeared on a TV channel the other day. His lawyer Mathew Kuzhalnadan has explained the case. I think they are professionals in this field,” said Thomas Isaac in a sarcastic way.
“Complainant Ranjith Karthikeyan has stated that KIIFB is a statutory body and not a corporate body. A corporate body can take bank loans. If a statutory body takes a loan, it will be regarded as the government’s liability. He named London Stock Exchange as accused and CAG as a party in the case to clarify this law point,” he added.
“He held talks with RSS leader Ram Madhav regarding this matter at Ramanilayam. After filing the case in court, he has withdrawn his petition twice with the approval of the court. But later, he decided to file a case for the third time after holding talks with the RSS leader,” alleged the Finance Minister.
The minister dismissed the argument that the government is liable for the loan taken by KIIFB. He also criticised Mathew Kuzhalnadan’s argument that he took up the case as part of his profession.
