RSP leader TJ Chandrachoodan passes away 


Prof. Chandrachoodan had been distant from active politics for a long time on account of poor health. He also served as RSP state secretary from 2008 till 2018.

Kollam: Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) former national general secretary Prof. TJ Chandrachoodan passed away on Monday. The 82-year-old politician was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.

Chandrachoodan was not active in politics for a long time due to his poor health. He also served as the RSP state secretary from 2008 till 2018.

A college professor by profession, Chandrachoodan had contested in the assembly polls. He was included as a permanent invitee to the state committee at the RSP state conference held this month.
