Kochi: Controversy over using church platform in LDF candidate selection is unnecessary, said Dr Jo Joseph. Those who say I am a nominee of the church are practising negative politics. We are not bothered about them, Joseph told mathrubhumi.com.
We are approaching people with the positive politics of LDF. We don’t engage in personal attacks. The development agenda of the government and our dreams about the constituency are what we tell them. Let the opposition continue their negative politics, he said on the campaign trail.
He reiterated the confidence that LDF will touch the 100-mark by winning the Thrikkakara bypoll. People from all walks of life are supporting LDF, he said.
In the row over the press meet held at Lisie hospital, he said that he was at the hospital when the announcement came. The media arrived at the hospital and hence the press meet was held there.
