76 road accidents on New Year day helped by KANIV ambulance service

Thiruvananthapuram: According to data maintained by KANIV-108 (Kerala Ambulance Network for Injured Victims), it had offered emergency medical aid to 76 individuals affected by road accidents on the New Year day.

76 persons were provided emergency medical aid (road accidents) on January 1 between 12:00 am and 11:59 PM.

District-wise data on individuals given aid:

Thiruvananthapuram-36

Alappuzha-10

Ernakulam-7

Thrissur-5

Kozhikode-5

Idukki-5

Kollam-4

Kottayam-3

Pathanamthitta-1

KANIV has been envisaged as a part of the health department's trauma care project in order save the precious life which is being lost in road accidents. The agency spearheading the project is EMRI Green Health Services.
