Thiruvananthapuram: An MBBS student who was riding a bike was killed in a car-bike collision on Sunday morning. Another student who was travelling with him on the bike sustained serious injuries and was admitted to Ananthapuri hospital.

The accident took place at 4.30 am at Chanthavila in Pothencode here while the students were going to the railway station from Gokulam medical college.

The deceased student is identified as Nidhin Hari, a native of Kothamangalam in Ernakulam. Both of them were students of Gokulam medical college.
