Restrictions on visitors to Dileep at Aluva sub jail
Kochi: The authorities on Friday placed restrictions for visitors to actor Dileep who is lodged in Aluva sub jail after his arrest in the actress attack case.
Henceforth, only limited number of persons including close relatives will be allowed to meet him. The restrictions have been placed in the wake of increase in number of members of film fraternity visiting Dileep in the last few days. The authorities point out that the jail officials are facing difficulties over allegations that Dileep enjoys special consideration.
On Friday itself, permission was denied to eight persons as part of the restrictions. Several cine stars and film workers had visited the actor in jail during Onam. Following this, many alleged that jail norms were violated.
The other day, many including LDF MLA K B Ganesh Kumar had met Dileep in jail. Their response after the visit had raked up controversies too.
The Angamaly Magistrate court had earlier permitted Dileep to attend his father’s death anniversary ritual for two hours on September 6.
