Nedumbassery: Air India Express has announced the schedule of the flights which will arrive at Kerala carrying the expats stranded in various countries from Thursday onwards. The central government has intiated the repatriation of expats amid the coronavirus outbreak around the globe.
On Thursday, Air India Express will operate three services to repatriate the stranded expats. Abu Dhabi to Kochi flight will arrive at Nedumbassery airport at 9.40 pm on Thursday.
Doha-Kochi flight will land at 10.45 pm. At the same time, the flight carrying passengers from Dubai will land in Kozhikode at 9.40 pm on the same day.
On Friday, Bahrain-Kochi flight will land at 10.50 pm. Flights from Kuwait and Muscat will reach Kochi airport at 9.15 pm and 8.50 pm respectively on Saturday.
On Sunday, Doha-Thiruvananthapuram flight will land at 10.45 pm and Kuala Lumpur-Kochi flight will land at 10.10 pm.
On May 11, the flight from Bahrain will reach Kozhikode at 11.20 pm. Dubai-Kochi flight will arrive at Kochi airport at 10.10 pm.
On May 12, two flights carrying expats will arrive at Kochi airport. Kuala Lumpur-Kochi flight will land at 10.15 pm and Singapore-Bengaluru-Kochi flight will land at 10.50 pm.
On May 13, Air India Express flight from Kuwait will land Kozhikode at 9.15 pm.
Apart from Air India Express, Air India is also operating services.
Indian Embassies in each county have provided the priority list of passengers to airlines which operate the services for repatriation of expats. The ticket has been provided as per this list.
Expats are allowed to take hand baggage weighing 7 kg and check-in baggage of 25 kg free of charges.
