Thiruvananthapuram: Four district collectors in Kerala were transferred on Wednesday. Ernakulam collector Renu Raj is moving to Wayanad. The transfer comes amidst the crisis caused by the fire at a waste-dumping yard at Brahmapuram in Kochi. On the other day, the high court criticised the collector for not appearing before it.

NSK Umesh will take over the charge of Ernakulam. M Geetha, the present Wayanad collector, was transferred to Kozhikode.

Thrissur collector Haritha V Kumar was transferred to Alappuzha while Krishna Teja, the Alappuzha collector, was shifted to Thrissur.
