Relief for TN woman in Kozhikode as she gets back her hard earned Rs 50,000

Kozhikode: Muthabharanam, a Tamil Nadu woman engaged in scrap collection here feels relieved after getting back her lost money. She had lost Rs 50,000 which she earned by struggling for days.

The woman has been staying in Perumanpura region of Poovattuparamba. Fearing theft she kept the money attached to her waist, but somehow lost it on the way to Kuttikkattoor.

Soon she intimated the matter to Kozhikode Medical College Police Station and officials promptly intervened in the matter.

Police after examining CCTV visuals in the region found that a person has picked up the money she lost. The officials later identified the person and brought him to the station, where the money was handed over to the woman.

She thanked the officials for helping her to find the hard-earned money.
