Kannur: Three train services in Malabar were cancelled on Sunday citing the construction of a rail bridge between Thalassery and Edakkad railway stations. Certain services were shortened and some were delayed considering the bridge works.
Thrissur- Kannur Express (16609), Kannur- Shoranur Express (06456) and Kozhikode- Kannur Express will not operate on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Ernakulam- Kannur Express (16305), Chennai- Mangaluru Egmore (16159) and Coimbatore- Mangaluru Express (16323) will end services in Kozhikode. Nagercoil- Mangaluru (16606) service will not conduct service between Vadakara and Mangaluru.
Ernakulam- Nizamuddin Mangala (12617) will operate two hours late. The service will commence only at 12.10 pm. Kochuveli- Lokmanya Tilak Garib Rath Express will start only one hour after the scheduled time.
The Kannur- Cheruvathur Express Special (06469) scheduled to begin at 5.30 pm will start only at 7 pm.
