Thiruvananthapuram: In the wake of recurring technical glitches in the EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) server, the Kerala government has decided to suspend the supply of ration in the state on Thursday and Friday. Ration shops will not function on these days.

A decision in this regard was announced by Food and Civil Supplies Minister GR Anil. The minister opined that ration vendors were not responsible for the technical glitches.

On account of the suspension, the ration distribution for the month of April has been extended to May 5. According to ration vendors, it is better to open the shops after resolving all the server issues.
