Ramesh Chennithala demands CM's resignation every day at 12 pm, mocks Kanam Rajendran
Thiruvananthapuram: CPI Kerala state secretary Kanam Rajendran has mocked Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala by saying that he has been demanding the Chief Minister’s resignation every day at 12 pm for the last 2 months.
Kanam Rajendran stated that M Sivasankar is no longer part of the state government and that he was removed from the Chief Minister's office. He has been suspended from civil service and has been stripped off of all responsibilities. Hence, the government will not face any issue in this regard, the CPI leader said.
Kanam also criticised the approach taken by certain parties in connection with reservation policy. He added that it was based on the constitutional amendment passed in January 2019, that the government decided to implement a 10 percent reservation for people belonging to sections outside the reserved categories.
