Rajmohan Unnithan approaches Supreme Court against Karnataka for closing border
New Delhi: Rajmohan Unnithan MP filed a petition in the Supreme Court against Karnataka government’s decision to close the borders with Kerala.
The petition wanted the apex court to urge Karnataka to reopen the borders and also to stay the government's decision.
Rajmohan Unnithan pointed out that even patients going to hospitals are denied entry by the Karnataka authorities. A patient had died the other day as the ambulance carrying her was denied entry to cross the border.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ask Kaarnataka open up the borders.
