Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that Kerala will receive more rain during April. It added that there will be a relief from the scorching heat this month. On an average, 105.1 ml of rain is received during April month. It is predicted that this year it may go beyond that.
In March this year, around 45 per cent more rain was received in Kerala.
The disaster management authority had said that the state may witness isolated rains and thunderstorms from April 1-5. The possibility of thunder is high from 2 pm to 10 pm.
