Nilambur: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that he has directed party leaders in Kerala to do three things in connection with the upcoming assembly election.

"If these are implemented, I will give full support to them. I will go wherever you want me to go and do whatever you want me to do. I trust the leaders and the local level party workers and strongly believe that the UDF will come back to power," Rahul said.

The three things Rahul Gandhi suggested:

1. Election manifesto: The things to be accomplished if the party comes to power should be clearly stated before the public. So, an election manifesto that gives hope to the people should be prepared.

2. Candidate selection: The candidate list should include experienced leaders as well as youngsters. The candidates should be able to influence the public. The candidate selection procedure should be transparent.

3. War of ideas: The election should be a war against the policies of the central and state governments. This is very important. Congress should be able to give hopes about the future.
