Kozhikode: PV Chandran and MV Shreyams Kumar took charge as the new Chairman of Mathrubhumi Board of Directors and Managing Director respectively. The ceremony was filled with the memories of MP Veerendra Kumar, who had led Mathrubhumi for a very long time. Mayor Thottathil Raveendran extended regards to MV Shreyams Kumar on his new responsibility.
MV Shreyams Kumar, son of former Managing Director MP Veerendra Kumar, was the Joint Managing Director of Mathrubhumi before his elevation as the Managing Director.
MP Veerendra Kumar’s wife Usha Veerendra Kumar was present along with other family members at the ceremony. Usha Veerendra Kumar gifted a bouquet to the newly appointed Chairman, PV Chandran.
Mathrubhumi Joint Managing Editor PV Nidheesh greeted Mayura Shreyams Kumar, who took charge as the full-time Additional Director.
The new Chairman and the Managing Director took charge in a simple ceremony attended by Director MK Jinachandran and other Mathrubhumi family members.
