Kochi: The Kerala High Court on Friday dismissed a stay order issued by Kerala Administrative Tribunal barring PSC from conducting Sub-Inspector (Civil Police, Armed Police) examinations on November 22. With this, the examination will be held as per the schedule.

Earlier, Kerala Administrative Tribunal issued a verdict upon a petition filed by some applicants who were not short-listed for the Main-level examination. Following this, PSC approached the high court questioning this verdict.

The petitioners criticised the PSC for excluding them from the shortlist and claimed that they have the right to attend the examination. PSC pointed out in High Court that not even the petitioners demanded to ban the examination.
