PSC exam fraud: Two absconding accused surrender
Thiruvananthapuram: Two absconding accused in the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) exam fraud case surrendered at the court here on Saturday.
They were second and fourth accused Pranav and Safeer. The two surrendered before the Chief Judicial Magistrate court.
A student of Thiruvananthapuram University College, Pranav was placed second in the controversial PSC police rank list. Safeer, a native of Vattakarikkakom in Kallara here, had sent the answers to the accused candidates through SMS.
The crime branch had named five persons as accused in the PSC exam fraud case where the question paper for police constable examination was leaked. Pranav and Safeer had been absconding.
Earlier, the PSC vigilance department had questioned Pranav in connection with the exam fraud. He went underground afterwards. Crime branch is investigating the case now.
