PS Sreedharan Pillai likely to be BJP state president
Kozhikode: Putting an end to the crisis in BJP state committee, Adv PS Sreedharan Pillai is likely to be sworn in as state president of the party. It is reported that the official announcement regarding this will be made soon.
PK Krishnadas and Sreedharan Pillai will visit the national leaders in Delhi ahead of the announcement.
The argument between the two factions in the party delayed electing the president. Though state general secretary K Surendran, PK Krishnadas, AN Radhakrishnan and MT Ramesh were considered for the post, the disparities in opinion of the members failed the party to choose the leader.
The state president post fell vacant after Kummanam Rajasekharan was sworn in as Mizoram Governor.
Adv Sreedharan Pillai was BJP state president during 2003- 2006.
