Kozhikode: The Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideen (KNM) has decided to boycott the Muslim coordination committee meeting, scheduled to be held on Monday, in protest against the Panakkad family’s decision to stay away from the Mujahid conference.
The KNM is boycotting the meeting called by Panakkad Sadiq Ali Thangal. The Muslim coordination committee had decided to convene the meeting to hold talks on matters of Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and contemporary political circumstances.
Munavvar Ali Thangal and Rasheed Ali Thangal had withdrawn from the Mujahid conference, submitting to the pressure by Samastha Kerala Jam-Iyyathul Ulama, the other day.
Meanwhile, criticisms were raised against the Samastha and the Muslim League at the Mujahid conference.
