Thiruvananthapuram: Police registered an FIR in connection with the Youth Congress protest against CM inside the flight. According to the FIR, the protestors issued a death threat to CM in Malayalam- “Ninne njangal vechakillada”, which translates roughly to “we won’t spare you”.

FIR elaborates on how the protestors attempted to murder the CM. The accused assaulted CM’s gunman and attacked his private secretary. The charges slapped are for attempt to murder, obstructing a public servant, criminal conspiracy and aggravated assault that threatens the safety of an aircraft.

Two Youth Congress workers raised slogans against the CM inside the aircraft in which he travelled from Kannur to Thiruvananthapuram.
