Chamravattam: Nine-year-old Riza Fathima was annoyed when she came across a question to write a profile on Argentine footballer Lionel Messi during the Malayalam annual examination of Class 4. The hints on Lionel Messi were already given in the question and she had to only convert it into a passage. However, Riza refrained to even attempt it as she is an ardent fan of Brazilian football and Neymar.
“I will not write. I am a Brazil fan. I love Neymar and I don’t like Messi,” Riza wrote in Malayalam in the column reserved for the answer.
Riza’s answer sheet has gone viral on social media when the teacher examined the answer sheet and shared it on the teachers’ WhatsApp group. Though Riza wrote it seriously, the social media users found it hilarious and interesting. Meanwhile, the Brazil Fans Association of the locality has presented a jersey of Neymar to Riza. She is a student of Sastha ALP School, Puduppalli.
In the exam, the students were asked to attempt any five questions out of the given six. Riza had expressed her dissent with Messi's question after writing the answers for the other five questions.
