Kochi: President Ram Nath Kovind helped a wedding party who were about to move out of the venue in the last minute. The president avoided his high security so that the wedding party need not move out of the hotel in Kochi where his stay was also arranged. He decided on this after a foreign lady who arrived to attend the wedding requested his office to help them.

The wedding was scheduled on Tuesday at Taj Vivanta Hotel in Kochi. The stay for president also was arranged in the same hotel as he would arrive at Navy airport on Monday at 2.15 in the afternoon. In order to follow the security protocol of the President, the wedding had to be moved to some other place.

With this, a foreign lady named Ashley Hall tweeted to Rasthrapati Bhavan pointing out the incident. As the president noticed the tweet, he asked them to conduct the wedding as per schedule. He will stay at the hotel on Monday and will go to Lakshadweep on Tuesday morning.
