Kollam: Posters protesting against KPCC Vice president Sooranad Rajasekharan have appeared in Kollam. The posters allege Rajasekharan’s links with RSS following the setback of Congress in the LSG polls.
“Oust RSS recruit agent KPCC Vice president Sooranad Rajasekharan who sold out Congress to RSS,” read the posters. Posters against Kollam DCC president Bindhu Krishna also appeared across Kollam the other day.
Posters with captions like ‘Save Congress by ousting payment queen Bindu Krishna from DCC president post’ and ‘BJP agent Bindu Krishna is enemy of Congress’ appeared in the name of Save Congress, Kollam.
Following this incident, posters against Rajasekharan also appeared in Kollam. According to reports, the dispute within Congress ‘I’ group led to the protest through posters.
Meanwhile, Sooranad Rajasekharan dismissed the allegations which claimed Congress workers are behind the protest. “ I think some anti-Congress people plotted this protest after the party faced a setback in the polls,” said Rajasekharan.
He noted that people who displayed the posters against Bindhu Krishna are involved in the protest against him.
Congress leadership in Kollam are handling the activities of the party. So, there is no need to drag my name to the controversies, he added.
