Post-flood activities a failure, alleges Opposition; ‘daydreaming’ says CM
Thiruvananthapuram: The opposition in the House moved a notice for an adjournment motion to discuss the failures from the part of government during post-flood activities. Congress MLA V D Satheesan sought permission for adjournment motion.
Even after ten months, flood-affected people have not obtained government aid. Government has failed drastically to provide help and assistance, said the notice.
Responding to this, chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that those who allege the post-flood activities a failure, are of a special mindset. They are daydreaming. There has been no compromise on post-flood activities.
For the complete revival of the state it will take atleast three years. No family affected by floods have been denied help.
As soon as houses are completed, assistance will be provided in instalments. The project is under implementation. Rebuild Kerala is not just a government system, he added.
