Experts hold studies after unknown strange sounds heard from Kerala house

Kozhikode: A team of expert has visited the house at Poloor in Kozhikode where unknown strange sounds have been heard. Citing the pressure differences beneath the Earth surface as the reason for it, the team said there is nothing to be concerned about.

The team headed by Earth scientist, G Sankar, insisted the need to hold more surveys to ensure that there is no soil erosion underneath.

For the last two weeks, this strange sound has been heard at the house owned by Biju at Thekkemarathu near Poloor temple. The officials of fire and rescue department and geology paid a visit to the house. The Minister for Forests, AK Saseendran, also visited. It was on the direction of the revenue department, the team reached the house to hold a study on it.

It was recently, Biju constructed one more floor to his house and soil was removed from a land nearby his house. These were also suspected as the reason for the sound. However, sound can be heard only from his house. Since the sound is heard every time, irrespective of day and night, Biju and his family have shifted to a relative’s house nearby.
