Kochi: LDF candidate for Thrikkakara byelection, Dr Jo Joseph, said that his life has always been about hard work.
"We can achieve success in life only through hard work. Public service is also a part of it. I am 100% confident of winning the election," he said in a brief interview with Mathrubhumi News.
Earlier, he had predicted that the LDF would win 100 seats in the 2021 assembly elections. After his candidature was announced for Thrikkakara, this video of him speaking in April 2021 resurfaced on social media.
A doctor understands the difficulties and hardships of a person. This compassion as a doctor gives me no reason to think otherwise than to side with the left front. Politics gives better opportunity to serve and contribute more to society, he said.
He added that he was a follower of left ideologies from childhood despite not being a member of SFI or DYFI. He also dismissed the allegations that he was a nominee of the church.
